Ceramic Industrial Waste (CIW) was chose due to its beneficial properties into concrete technology which is have good thermal insulator, refractory (material that retains its strength at high temperatures), hard and strong.
The ceramic wastes properties show that it provide many advantages in concrete technology which can increase their use in concrete mix.
The reducing of raw materials in construction is an issue for the industry nowadays. Because of that, some creative idea and revolution for modified concrete had been implemented. The use of industrial waste such as fly ash, sludge and powder can be used as replacement material in concrete mix which is to increase the sustainable of concrete. This will help to reduce of the usage of natural resources such as gravel and river sand in concrete mix.
